Rotoma / Rotoiti Wastewater Treatment Plant

Construct a Greenfield Waste Water Treatment Plant for the Rotoiti and Rotoma Communities. A 0.5 Ml/d MBR wastewater treatment plant and land disposal system were adopted. The contract contained design and build elements which included construction of: -

• Sealed access road and earthworks.

• Treatment plant site works.

• Flow balance tank and pump station.

• Inlet works including fine screening.

• 4 stage Membrane installation and permeate storage tanks.

• SBR treatment tanks (including aeration, mixers and decanting).

• Waste activated sludge tank and system.

• Sludge dewatering system.

• Chemical storage and dosing systems.

• Biofilter, odour extraction and land disposal system.

• Electrical and control design.

• Utilities buildings and UV system.

• Blower room, MCC room & Dewatering room.

• Associated site works and consent compliance requirements.
